Photography tip of the day and this one is super simple but totally worth while! I once had a photographer friend posting in our photography group in desperate need of a battery. She had gotten all the way to her session, her clients were arriving, and she realized that she left her camera battery on the charger. She had her camera, her clients and a great location…. All of the hard stuff but couldn’t take a single photo because of a simple error.

Since that day, I always always take a quick photo (with both of my cameras, always have a backup) before I pull out of my drive way. That one image is almost always trashed unless I happen to be near one of my kiddos but it lets me know that I have my battery and my SD/CF card where they need to be and gives me so much peace of mind.
